Centripetal Acceleration

my physics is rusty...so is my spelling..

you know what a bola is? those round things attached to a base by a string... acceleration of the base causes the round thing to move but its held together by the string..so the only way the ball could move, is in circles..

forever bounded by the string...

now that is a sad ball..hes going no where..
