What Glows but does Not Shine

Standing in the door way between light and dark
He ponders on the situation at hand
Lacking the determination and the righteous mark
Summoning all that is Holy a man could man

The choice was made
He beckons before the Light
but yet the evil fades
and the darkness fleed in fright

He needs no protection
no conciliation
no solace in the light
no redemption
